Christ the King offers a wide variety of opportunities to serve within the church, out in the community, and around the world.

Everything we have comes from and belongs to our abundant God. As Christ’s disciples, we are to care for and use all of these resources wisely. Giving is about loving your neighbor as yourself. Day by Day. Giving is an action that reflects the love in our heart for God and for people around us.

When we share the time, talents and finances that God entrusts to us, we grow as disciples and deepen our loving relationship with Jesus. By giving our resources to do the work God calls us to do, we become partners with God here on earth.

Please prayerfully consider what God would have you share financially through mission and ministry in gratitude for God’s gifts to you.

ELCA World Hunger Appeal – November Gift of Love

God richly provides for daily bread — the earth can produce enough food for everyone. Yet, many of our sisters and brothers still go hungry. By providing immediate relief to those who are hungry, we meet basic needs and recognize the universal human right to food. But ending hunger is about more than food. By connecting people with the resources they need to produce food and gain access to clean water, education, health care and sources of income, long-term, sustainable change can be accomplished. We start with relationships marked by conversation and listening. We believe people know their own communities best. It is our congregations and our global companion churches that first identify the local needs and related solutions to help make a dif-ference. Then, we partner with communities to help make those solutions a reality. Watch for more information during worship or go to https://www.elca.org/Our-Work/Relief-and-Development/ELCA-World-Hunger
