Join the adventure on September 28th from 9am-4pm at the Mt. Olivet Retreat Center in Farmington, MN for a CTKB post-sabbatical Renewal Retreat. With a mixture of music, storytelling, play, conversation, art, and prayer we will embark on the Hero's Journey together. 
 
Through small and large group activities, participants will learn about two key ideas that drove Pastor Rory's renewal time, a theology of play and the map of the hero's journey, as well as how those ideas took shape over 12 weeks of adventure. You will also learn how to map your own life stories, weave them together with God's story, and discern the next step as you go deeper in your own spiritual adventure.
 
Kids, families, young, and old are all invited and welcome to join! Lunch and snacks will be provided. Built into the schedule for the day is a community break time, where you will have time and opportunity to explore the five miles of trails running through 154 acres of woods, marsh, and prairie; sit and watch for wildlife; take a dip in the pool or relax in the whirlpool and sauna; catch up with friends; or play outside. There is sure to be something for everyone.

We are covering the $50/person cost for this day retreat so that everybody can go! But if you can afford to pitch in, there are some sliding scale registration options. All donations towards the retreat cost will go to fund ongoing ministry at CTK.
