Family Play Space

Families with young children are invited to play together at this free indoor play space that operates the first Saturday of the month, 9am-3pm, November through March. The play space is ideal for children ages 6 months through about 6 years old, but younger and older children are welcome. All are welcome!

2025-2026 Play Space Details:

Location: Christ the King Lutheran Church (CTK) - 8600 Fremont Ave S, Bloomington MN 55420 - Social Hall

Dates: First Saturday of the month, November 2025 - March 2026

• January 3rd, 2026
• February 7th, 2026
• March 7th, 2026

Times: 9:00am - 3:00pm (come for all or part of the time)

What to expect: Open play area with a bounce house, crawler area (baby/young toddler), ride-on and push toys, balls, small basketball hoops, mini trampoline, hula hoops, bounce buddies, scooter boards, and more.

• All are welcome - no need to attend worship or other activities at Christ the King Lutheran Church (CTK).
• Use the main entrance to the church and proceed straight. The Social Hall will be on your left.
• Parents/guardians are expected to stay, play, and supervise their children.
• No need to RSVP,  just drop in during play space hours (9am-3pm).
• Bring socks for the bounce house and dry shoes to change out of wet winter boots when you arrive.
• Admission is free with a suggested donation of $3 per child (cash or give online).
• Free water and coffee.
• Bring your own non-messy snacks from home, but please avoid anything with peanuts or tree nuts.
• All first time families will be asked to sign a liability waiver when they arrive.
• Please do not come if you are feeling ill or have recently tested positive for any contagious illnesses.
• The rest of the church will be closed during family play time.
• Please do not bring toys from home.
