The Lord said, "I will grant peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one shall make you afraid." Leviticus 26:6

Jesus said, "But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you." Luke 11:20

The Lord has given us all that we need to live a peaceful life. By living as God has required, we open our hands to support others and reach out to help others in need. The verses for today tell what is expected of us to live in peace. We need to trust in God by knowing that his kingdom is ours and that we need have no fear.

Psalm 69:30 "I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving." If we strive to live in peace and in praise of God, we live within the plan that God has for us. He is a forgiving God and will welcome us back with loving arms when we seek to judge others rather than welcome them. God's plan leads us always to live in belief in him and to follow his example by loving others.

Dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Thank you for always giving us a plan for living the best lives. Help us to always follow your word to live the in peace as we help and love others. Amen.
