The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me. Psalm 138:8
Having been made perfect, Jesus became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. Hebrews 5:9
In this week when we focus on being thankful , how can we be thankful enough for what Jesus did for all who obey God and believe that he has a purpose to fulfill through each one of us?Salvation through Christ’s death and resurrection is the greatest gift to each of us who believe.
Sometimes it is difficult to feel that we are worthy to be one who has a purpose set forth by God. We may feel empty and unable to serve. God understands everything about each one of us and is there to provide comfort, guidance, and strength. We may not see the plan God has for us, but God is there to fill us with his love and to bring restoration when we are down. Blessed be our constant source of strength.
Dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Thank you for always reaching out your hand to deliver us. Continue to give us the strength to believe in and to feel your purpose in our lives. Thank you for the blessings in our lives, the most important of which, is our salvation. Amen.
