Have you secretly wished you could sing with a group, be part of a band, ring handbells? There are spaces for you in our CTK music teams!

We are blessed with many faithful musicians, from diverse musical backgrounds, who consistently give their best, and inspire our worship with their prepared music. And you can be part of these groups! This year, each of our first rehearsal of the Fall will begin with "happy hour," a half-hour of socializing, "mocktails" and snacks - a way to reconnect our teams after the summer break, get to know newcomers, or folks just wanting to try things on for fit, as we build up our community of faith through music.

Do you play an instrument? Been awhile since high school, college, or community band? Any instrument is welcomed in our church band, and who doesn't need an excuse to dust off that instrument in the closet? Let Bjorn know, and he'll custom craft a part for you with the Acclaim Worship Band. AWB will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 6th at 5:30pm.

Are you a singer, or want to be? If you can read music, that's great, but a good ear is even more impor-tant. Singing is one of the most healthful activities, increasing oxygenation levels and improving mental health. Who couldn't use more health? If you are shy about your voice, a low stress, ten minute check in with Bjorn should alleviate any fears prior to starting, he believes everyone can and should sing! Trinity Choir meets at 7pm on Wednesday, Sept 7th.

Can you count? Can you dance? A good sense of rhythm is all that is needed to be part of our handbell choir! We laugh through our mistakes but challenge ourselves to work up beautiful, varied music. No one should really be intimidated by handbells. Yes one can make a mistake, but we follow Luther's advice to sin boldly! We hear and notice our mistakes together and create joy in the process. Short tutorials on ringing basics is provided before rehearsals for all newbies! Chapel Ringers will meet at 6pm on Tuesday, Sept 20th.

Start the Fall off with a musical note!
