Confirmation – 5:55 – 7 pm Wednesday Nights (Sept-May) In Confirmation, youth engage in large and small group activities and relationships with each other and caring adults. Hands-on learning focuses on curiosity that leads to deep engagement with the Bible, church history, and Lutheran theology. Students participate in worship leadership, creative sermon notes, retreats, service in the church and community, and a capstone project each year.  At the end of three years of faith formation 9th graders take a special step in faith to affirm their baptism.

Youth Sunday School – 10:45 – 11:45 am Sundays   The Gathering – Middle / High School We’ve rebranded ourselves as “The Crowd Goes Fishing”!  We meet Sunday mornings from 10:45-11:45am in the Youth Room (unless there’s a church wide event – then we’ll join that event).  We had a great first week getting to know our incoming 6th graders and brainstorming on ideas for discussion and projects for the upcoming year.  Please come and join us for discussion, games, food and fun!

We had an overwhelming request to have food each week!  If you’re interesting in helping feed these young people breakfast, please let Jane VeVea (jvevea@ctkb.org) or Margaret Berg (mberg7@gmail.com) know and we’ll get you signed up!

Spring Plant Sale

Spring is coming fast! Our Spring Plant Sale dates are set and we are using Gerten’s again this year due to their excellent quality. Last year our proceeds helped send 11 CTK kids to Sugar Creek Bible Camp. Plants and gift cards will be here in time for Mother’s Day, and also make wonderful teacher gifts! Look for our brochures and order forms in the gathering space starting March 17. Orders and money are due March 31 with plants available for pickup on Wednesday, May 8 and Sunday, May 12.

Parents and kids: please sign-up to help.
