What is Confirmation?: It is an opportunity for 6-8th graders to learn more about God; To see how He wants them to shine in the world. This is an opportunity to embrace and later profess (as 9th graders) their understanding of Luther's catachism/teachings and the Gospel of grace we all embrace as the ELCA. We will be using the Here We Stand cirrculum again this year and continuing the service element for each small group. There will be a special retreat for those 9th graders getting confirmed in the Fall that will allow them time to process and build the upcoming confirmation service themselves. There will also be Prayer around the Cross offered 2x a month. In the craziness of our world this will be a wonderful time of quiet reflection and prayer for us to get centered and close to God. (see registration forms and permission slips located on this page)

College age youth: We continually reach out to those who are in the community or away at school through many different mediums. Our Prayer shawl ministry (sending care packages with the shawls) has been one way in which we reach those near and far on the campus setting. Not to mention having some of them becoming confirmation mentors, teachers and leaders here at CTKB. What a blast!
