Vacation Bible School

June 21st - 25th


Set under the African baobab tree, kids will hear the Word, be amazed at God's wildlife creations and be a part of a supportive community. Children will meet all sorts of critters as they visit various stations such as Savannah Storytelling, Serengeti Science, Kalahari Crafts and Grassland Games.


9:00 am to noon—1/2 day

3 year olds - entering Kindergarten

$25.00 per child

$65 for a family of three or more children.

 

9:00—3:00 Pm—Full day

entering 1st grade through entering 5th grade. Full Day - $70 per child

$195 for a family of 3 or more children 

Adult volunteers: Volunteer all 5 mornings and your children attend FREE! 

6th - 8th grade volunteer in the
morning and attend afternoon field trips all afternoons for $10
 

Sign up by May 21st for a free Baobab Blast CD. (Limit one per family) 

Registration closes at 200 children or on June 7th, whichever comes first.

 

  

SportsLife Camp

July 12th - 15th

5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Sports and Arts program
entering 1st through 5th grades

 

The SportsLife teams of gifted coaches work with children to develop their athletic and artistic passions and skills while teaching from the Bible and modeling Jesus' love.

Main Event time is when kids participate in a sport or art of their choice.

Side Shows are crazy, wacky, and creative activities that encourage laughter and
silliness. 

At Half Time kids are invited to explore what it means to know and follow Jesus.

Go Time is the end of the day. It is large group time where children are led in song, memory verse and prayer.

 The cost is $30 per child for the 4 days or $10 per child per day

Registration closes at 60 children or
June 28, 2010, whichever comes first.

 

Summer Camps for Children and Youth at Sugar Creek Bible Camp, July 25-30, 2010 *

*This is Enviro Week with an added emphasis on stewardship of God’s creation and nature studies.

Entering Grade 4 - Seekers

Your week will be packed with fun, horseback riding, creek stomping, challenge course, crafts, campfires, pool party, Bible study, singing and more. You will stay in a cabin with six other friends and one counselor. Cost.: $320 

Entering Grade 5 - Pathfinders

You get to stay in giant platform tents that have beds! You and your six tent mates will cook you own food over the fire, with the help of the counselor, of course. You will have Bible study, go horseback riding, do challenge courses, craft and lots more. Cost: $320

Entering Grades 6-8 - Confirmation Camp

Kirsten will accompany the students to camp. Each day you will have 1½hours of class time and you’ll spend the rest of the week on a canoe outing, horseback riding, swimming and much more. Cost: $320

Entering Grades 9-12 - Riverboaters

Join your friends on a beautiful houseboat on the Mississippi River. You will spend time exploring enormous sand dunes and taking in the scenery of the majestic Mississippi River. Enjoy campfires on the sandbars, worship and Bible study on the beaches. Each houseboat holds ten campers and two counselors. Cost: $390

Families with three or more children attending camp can receive a discount. Registration forms are on the Youth Bulletin Board.

Children’s and Youth Summer Musical

August 2nd - 8th

Think warm!

Think Summer Musical! 

 

Join us this summer for an outstanding experience. Singing, acting, playing,
worship, crafts, games and more. We will be telling stories from the Bible on stage! ALL ARE WELCOME. Invite your classmates, friends, neighbors to join us for a fun-filled week.

Anyone that is interested in a principal part and/or solo MUST audition. A dialog and a musical selection will be provided to you to prepare for auditions. All others will audition at the first rehearsal.

Dates to Remember:

Musical Week: August 2 – 8 (includes performances on Saturday night and Sunday morning)

Registration Deadline: June 1st

Auditions: June 2nd & 3rd (sign-up’s will be provided)

Aug. 9-13RENEW: Empower Kids to Change the World - This will be a week of environmental focus to inspire kids to grow in faith, have fun and change the world.

Aug. 16-20GAMES GALORE  

Indoors, outdoors, teams, one-on-one, board, floor, loud and quiet games, Bible games galore! 

Children are welcome any or all days. If your child will be staying the entire day, please send a bag lunch with him/her.

 A morning and afternoon snack will be provided.

 Field trips two afternoons each week

 Cost: $5.00 per day per child
