Sunday School activities are held between services from 9:30-10:35am for children ages 3 years to 5th grade. Parents are encouraged to attend the adult Bible study in the Sanctuary or Social Hall during this time. A nursery for children birth to 3 years is available.
We will begin our time together in the BIG orange room downstairs (room # 30) with donuts and singing, then move to our classrooms. Everyone is welcome to join in the beginning “JAM & DONUTS” (Jesus And Music) fellowship time together.
Wednesday night programs run from 5:20-7:30pm. Handbells, choirs and supervised stories, crafts and activities are planned for children ages 3 years to 5th grade. A nursery for children birth to 3 years is available.
Family Fun events are sponsored approximately once a month. These events are geared for families with children of all ages. Details will be posted prior to each event.
Summer Programs such as 3 weeks of Vacation Bible School and Children's Musical, keeps kids involved beyond the school year. See media for brochure and information!
Programs for Parents
SPLASH At the time of a child's baptism Christ the King starts sending families the gift of a Splash Pack to support them with their child's faith formation. Splash gives them tips on practical ways to fulfill their baptism promise of raising their child in the Christian faith and alos gives them some fun ideas to use in their daily life as a family. Every child of God has been splashed in the love of Holy Baptism and welcomed into God's family! It's a blessing to have this ministry reach out to families during the first three years of their child's life.
Meals are delivered to new parents. Please contact the church office if you or someone you know is a new parent and would like a meal delivered in those first sleepless weeks.

CTK Children and Family Ministry
The Children and Family Ministry Team’s mission is to help children and their families grow to be disciples in mission for Christ in our homes, our congregation, and our community. The Children and Family Ministry Team, in conjunction with families, will:
- Provide opportunities for children and their families to worship, grow, care, tell and serve.
- Assist and encourage families to fulfill promises made at baptism.
- Provide resources and activities to nurture families’ faith development in their homes.
- Provide opportunities for children and adults to grow together in faith as the body of Christ.
