CTK Children and Family Ministry
The Children and Family Ministry Team’s mission is to help
children and their families grow to be disciples in mission for Christ in our
homes, our congregation, and our community.
The Children and Family Ministry Team, in conjunction with families,
will:
- Provide opportunities for children and their families to
worship, grow, care, tell and serve.
- Assist and encourage families to fulfill promises made at
baptism.
- Provide resources and activities to nurture families’ faith
development in their homes.
- Provide opportunities for children and adults to grow
together in faith as the body of Christ.

Ministry Team.
Sunday School activities are held between services from 9:40-10:35am for children ages 3 years to 5th grade. Parents are encouraged to attend the adult Bible study in the Sanctuary or Social Hall during this time. A nursery for children birth to 3 years is available.
Wednesday night programs run from 5:30-7:15pm. Handbells, choirs and supervised stories, crafts and activities are planned for children ages 3 years to 5th grade. A nursery for children birth to 3 years is available.
Family Fun events are sponsored approximately once a month. These events are geared for families with children of all ages. Details will be posted prior to each event.
Summer Programs such as Vacation Bible School, a Children's Musical, Awesome August and Family camp keep kids involved beyond the school year.
Programs for Parents
Parents of Children with Exceptional Needs meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7:00-8:30pm to support parents, exploring the unique blessings that children who display special needs bring to our families in a Christian, faith-based atmosphere. All parents of exceptional children in our community are invited.
Dad's and Mom-Ese Group is a new Devotional study that meets Thursday mornings at 10-11:30 in the nursery. Children are included.
Meals are delivered to new parents. Please contact the church office if you or someone you know is a new parent and would like a meal delivered in those first sleepless weeks.
Cradle Roll is a program to support parents in nurturing the faith of children ages birth to 3 years.
