Sunday School
Sundays, 9:30 – 10:35, 3 year olds through 5th grade
We are enjoying the SPARK curriculum in Sunday School again this year. Spark has been designed by children’s education experts to accommodate all the different ways kids learn. Your child may learn best through hands-on activities or maybe through writing and reading activities. Our kids will explore their faith through interactive activities and games, colorful lesson leaflets, creative act projects and engaging music.
What we are most excited about is that our kids will be opening the Bible and engaging with God’s Word each and every week. Age-specific Bible goals set for each age level help ensure kids in our congregation will engage with their Bibles in age appropriate ways.
A nursery for children birth to 3 years is available
We begin our time together in the BIG room downstairs with donuts and singing, then move to our individual classrooms. Everyone is welcome to join in the beginning “JAM & DONUTS” (Jesus And Music) fellowship time together.
Family Sunday School
Family Sunday School classes are held on Sunday mornings during regular Sunday School times. Children and their parents or special adults are invited to attend together. Each class has its own theme and will be notified prior to their class.
2 Year Olds: 3 & 4 Year Olds: Prayer
Kindergarten - Forgiveness
1st and 2nd Grade: Ten Commandments
3rd Grade: The Bible
4th Grade: The Apostle’s Creed
5th Grade: Holy Communion and What's Next?
WOW (Word on Wednesdays)
Wednesdays 5:30 – 7:00pm, 3 year olds through 5th grade
We explore different Bible stories each month in a rotation model with:
Bible Stories, Videos, drama, science, cooking, games, art, crafts and Children’s choirs!
Music is a wonderful part of this program!
Family Fun
events are planned approximately once a month. These events are geared for families with children of all ages.

Saturday, 2/11: 6:00-9:00pm At CTKB!
Enjoy some together time while your kids are safe having fun at their church!
Who: Kids ages 2-5th grade who are in the CTKB community
LIMIT of 25 children!!
Cost: This is FREE babysitting!!

Caregivers: CTKB HS youth who are going on the New Orleans summer trip, plus 3 adults. The youth will be paid to provide this service by the Children’s Ministry Team through the Children and Maternity Consignment Sale committee, and the money will go directly into their New Orleans fund.
