Confirmation – 5:55 – 7 pm Wednesday Nights (Sept-May)

In Confirmation, youth engage in large and small group activities and relationships with each other and caring adults. Hands-on learning focuses on curiosity that leads to deep engagement with the Bible, church history, and Lutheran theology. Students participate in worship leadership, creative sermon notes, retreats, service in the church and community, and a capstone project each year.  At the end of three years of faith formation 9th graders take a special step in faith to affirm their baptism.

The Gathering – 10:45 – 11:45 am Sundays once a month

Youth come together for a laid-back Sunday morning youth group time.  With adult leaders the youth will enjoy donut holes and a variety of fun ways to engage their faith in the real world. Conversation, activities, service and fun! Watch church publications for specific events and dates this year!

Youth Choir – 10:45 – 11:45 am most Sundays

*NEW this year* 6th – 12th graders meet in the choir room.  Youth sing, play instruments, and learn as they prepare to take leadership in worship! Youth Choir & the Gathering alternate weeks so there’s no need to choose between them.  Watch church publications for specific events and dates this year!

Beginning Bells – 11:45 am – 12:15 pm Sundays

This half hour rehearsal is open to children grade 3 and up (through adults).  It is the perfect place to learn how to ring bells with others who are just starting too! No prior knowledge is needed.  Note reading, rhythm, and skills in ringing handbells will all be rehearsed.  Regular attendance is very important.
